How To Have Mac and Ipad Happy

Ok. I purchased the Mac version and its ok.I then purchased the iPad version and I have the app. Do not know how to sync the two up with ICloud? And your support page really does not cover how to do this. Of course another option that you do show is dropbox. Help help help
